Today has been magical!! Spent the whole day in Waco Texas hand in hand with my sweetheart!!! This place is incredible!! Shopping and cupcakes at Magnolia...perfection!! We took a two hour tour and learned so much about this special place. One of the best parts is how much the people here love the Savior. I’m feeling blessed to know I’ll live close to this place that now has piece of my heart. ❤️🤠 @jeffjbird #WacoTexas #thesilosatmagnolia #jeffandandreaintexas2019 #magnoliamarket #texasherewecome

Y’all! The @clotheslinewaco had a $1 sale on skirts & dresses today! I found a few new pieces to add to my wardrobe! And, I got this awesome yellow paper beaded necklace at Clothesline just last week! It really pops with my @oldnavy dress & denim jacket.
As the mural reads, Clothesline purchases make a difference! #WacoTexas #dadim #blessthisdress

Let me introduce you to ‘Phlomis tuberosa ‘Bronze Flamingo’! This plant has a statuesque appearance at 4-5’ tall and 3’ wide. This tidy upright plant is an undemanding perennial. Phlomis is commonly referred to as Jerusalem Sage. Most people know the silver foliage Jerusalem Sage that has whorls of yellow flowers. This beauty has whorls is of lilac flowers with dark green foliage. The best part is it prefers to grow in ordinary to poor garden soil that is well drained. This plant is excellent for a dry garden, gravel garden or soil with rock in it. Too much damp soil will cause the tubers of this plant to rot. If you have good fertile soil that retains moisture you will need plant it on a mound and make the soil gravelly by adding filter sand and small gravel.
Bloom time is late spring through summer. It is attractive to bees and butterflies!!
This plant is beautiful planted with Powis Castle Artemisia. #WacoTexas #perennials #wacotown

So many people ask us the significance of the number 9 in our living room. The truth is, it’s always been Mike’s favorite number, and he has several 9’s tattooed on his body! Also of note: 9 was his soccer number growing up, we were married in the 9th month of the year, Sailor was born on the 9th of February, and Rhodes was born on 7/2 (7+2=9). It also seems like every time we go to a restaurant we end up at table number 9 or we’re on checkout register 9 at the grocery store. Those 9’s seem to be chasing us through life, so we’re happy one ended up on our wall in our Fixer Upper. It makes the house even more “us.”
